Enjoy this sketch from Brett Bean! It's the base of our upcoming Princess Croc Donut pin, now available as an Add-On from our add-ons section. We've unlocked a bunch in the past few days! Here are some of our newest:


Fan Boxes vs Add-Ons?

We had some questions about what exactly is the difference between the unlocked Fan Box items and our Add-Ons! To recap: Fan Boxes are team goals that, once hit, unlock the box and kicks off voting. The most popular Fan Box reward gets applied for free, automatically, to the item or tier(s) selected. So these are pure bonus for backers--you worked hard to unlock these rewards, so enjoy them!

Add-ons are completely optional items that you can add to your reward. Not all of these add-ons are going to be to everyone's liking... for example, you might be a pure book-reader, or a sticker enthusiast, or maybe you just wanted a simple bookmark. No pressure! Just add whatever you want while the campaign is running. Most of these items ARE limited to this campaign, though, so we lied; just a little pressure.

Another fun fact: Adding add-on items to your order will extend a Backer Train. A Backer Train is created when a continuous line of unbroken backers makes a pledge to the campaign. This info might come in handy in the case of our next Fan Box that relies on Overtime Mode: the Legenda--

We have one more art tier going live... we've got a final thumbs-up from Brett to post one final limited batch of COLOR Croc sketches, which will be added to our reward lineup as "Celestial Brett Box II" at exactly noon PST today, 10/29. That's in just a few hours!

Yeah, that's the good stuff. If you've already gotten your hands on a satisfying limited tier, great job. Platinum Fan Box incoming... maybe more

We are only about ~40k away from Platinum AND even closer to our next achievement which unlocks a new Enamel Pin add-on at hitting #6 Most Funded shortly after the campaign achieves $2M in funding. We're really feeling that Croc Donut, would be quite a shame if she was immortalized in metal in full DCC: Crocodile style, don't you think?

We'd also like to let you know about a BackerKit feature called Overtime Mode, where a campaign can be pushed past the end of it's scheduled closing by a continuous Backer Train. That's right, here's where that previously-hinted-atBacker Train-based Fan Box reward comes in. We'll see how it shakes out on November 3rd, but with a long enough train, there's a good chance you'll be able to unlock one final Fan Box. We'll have some additional media ready to go to properly close out the campaign too, so we're excited to see you on the big day!

We just checked, and it's true... there's only 11 days left until the campaign ends on the morning of November 3rd. 

Will you miss us when we're gone? Post a comment into the void? Shed a crocodile tear? 

There might not be a need to. We've got some tentative news about what's coming next after DCC: Crocodile... hmm, you know what, maybe we'll wait a bit longer to share. But, we think we've started something very special here, us and you, and in our opinion there should be more good times ahead. 

And, hey, the fun’s not over yet. We’ve got some more coming your way directly from the project creators, so stay tuned!

Thanks to your feedback, we’ve decided to proceed with a second printing of the Dungeon Crawler Carl NYCC Issue #0! You can now find that open-order item on the Add-ons page.

We’ve added a few new Achievement add-on unlock goals between here and our Platinum Fan Box to keep you occupied in the meantime.

We shared some news in our last post about the Dungeon Crawler Carl Webtoon comic series is coming to bookstores in physical form, and your frothing, roiling love of DCC might have broken containment yet again.

Time flies, doesn't it? The campaign's official ending is on November 3rd. If you're still mulling over your options, mull faster... once the Dungeon Crawler Carl: Crocodile exclusive hardcover editions are gone, they're GONE. Looking at you, Silver Croc Box tier.

DCC: Crocodile NYCC Issue #0 unlocked last Friday!

You guys unlocked DCC: Crocodile NYCC Issue #0 last week! And promptly snapped up all the copies we listed.

But we heard you, contingent of folks who aren't hanging around a live campaign on a Friday afternoon and didn't get one in time. We went through our full post-NYCC inventory and we had the barest handful left to post while leaving a buffer in case of fulfillment emergencies. So, we've just listed our last 150 copies. No unlocks needed--they are live right now. Yes, just like that. This is your reward for actually reading our updates.
